Cousins Furniture is the largest independent family-run furniture retailer in the Midlands. The original family business was established in 1921 and specialised in the trading of items and materials reclaimed from household demolitions. The family run business was founded in 1984; Cousins Furniture was the brainchild of two brothers Robert and Edward Shotton, along with their cousin William. With great endeavour, drive, and commitment, they opened the first Cousins Furniture store in Tyseley, Birmingham in 1985.

The company has Flagship Showrooms in: Dudley, Tyseley (Birmingham), Shrewsbury and Newcastle-under-Lyme, with Flooring departments in the Dudley, Tyseley, and Shrewsbury stores.

Cousins has an unparalleled flooring selection of carpet, luxury vinyl tiles, wood and laminate flooring, sheet vinyls and rugs, from local as well as leading brands. The company provides a free measuring and estimating service, and you can relax knowing that you’ll receive an expert, professional fitting service.

Cousins also offers customers the opportunity to benefit from their own exclusive Bespoke Sofa and Bed Studio, where customers can design their own sofas and beds to their own styles, made-to-measure sizes, and optimal comfort levels. They can also help you design your own bespoke carpet or rug.
