Panaget is regarded as one of France’s largest and oldest producers of premium wood flooring, founded in 1929. All engineered and solid planks are crafted exclusively from French oak and backed by a 30-year warranty. As the only fully eco-responsible manufacturer in the French sector, Panaget maintains long-standing partnerships with 42 sawmills situated in different areas from Burgundy to Normandy.
This network ensures a fast and reliable supply of roughly century-old French oak for its core production sites in France.
Close-range sourcing provides exceptionally consistent French white oak with one of the world’s shortest lead times, and lowest carbon footprints. Minimal distances between felling and manufacture helps to support sustainable practices while guaranteeing customers access to materials that are both fresh, and superior in terms of quality.
Panaget upholds “Made in France” commitments through authentically, ecologically and economically responsible models. The wood used is from renewable resources and has a minimal environmental footprint.
Timber is procured from around 40 French sawmills, typically located within 500 kilometres of the company’s factories. Wood is a forward-looking construction material that is carbon neutral and respectful of nature. This will have a positive impact on future generations.
Oak’s strength and longevity are well known. It ranks among Europe’s hardest species alongside beech, hornbeam and ash, and it offers a high density with impressive mechanical durability. More than 99% of Panaget flooring is made from oak, and every piece of that oak is sourced within France. Each board has its own character and, like leather, its appearance becomes richer and more refined over time.
High-grade surface finishes enhance resilience, enabling a floor to maintain natural beauty for many years. With upkeep, they integrate seamlessly into daily lives while preserving their timeless appeal.
