Lano is an established name in the world of carpets and rugs, having started out in 1970 when three established businesses from Belgium pooled their knowledge together. This gave the company the firmest of footings, built around 100 years of prior experience in textiles.
Producing broadloom carpets, rugs and artificial grasses, Lano’s own product range includes a selection of Axminster and Wilton weaves in addition to tufted floor coverings aimed at the domestic market.
Lano also markets its products to the hospitality sector.
Integrated production systems allow for precision, high-end designs and a uniqueness in quality. Indeed, quality control is thorough during all stages of manufacturing as demonstrated through ISO 9001.
With a production site in Harelbeke that covers in excess of 200,000 square metres, and where dyeing and printing takes place, Lano can stock up to 20,000 carpets onsite at any one time.
Outside of Belgium, Lano also has facilities in Forceville, close to Amiens in France, which is the location of a modern spinning mill.
