The Carpet Foundation in Kidderminster is the trade association for the UK carpet industry. It is backed by 11 leading UK carpet manufacturers and 1000 independent retailers known as Registered Specialists.

The manufacturers produce over half the carpet made in the UK and share the same product, design and quality values while Registered Specialists are the only retailers in the UK flooring industry that have a Consumer Code of Practice approved by the Office of Fair Trading.


It is widely acknowledged that the British make the best carpet in the world. UK manufacturers are synonymous with quality, craftsmanship and creativity.
