Ulster’s Latest Launches

Our homes are becoming more of a sanctuary, with consumers choosing to transform the look of their homes. Ulster Carpets’ vast range of products provide the ideal starting point in changing an interior scheme, with ranges constantly evolving to include the latest colours and designs, the Ulster Carpets Natural Choice range being one of the most popular.

Country House Collection, the most recent addition to the axminster range, is a compilation of 3 elegant designs - Melrose (Floral), Beaumont (Plaid) and Kazan (Persian, also available in a co-ordinating runner), offered in a sophisticated co-ordinating colour palette. Combining the softness, luxury and warmth of wool with the hard wearing properties of nylon for optimal performance, the Country House Collection is woven in an 80% wool, 20% nylon yarn blend and is available in 5 colour matching widths.


Ulster Carpets have recently commissioned a multi-million pound investment in 2 new revolutionary wilton looms, with the capability of weaving 5 metre wide for their Ulster Velvet and York Wilton ranges which will be available from spring 2009. This extended offering of 5 colour matching widths: 5m (16’5”), 4m (13’1”), 3m (9’9”), 2m (6’6”) & 1m (3’3”); removing the need for unsightly seams.

Further expanding Ulster’s extensive plain ranges, eight new berber colours have been added to the York Wilton range, bringing the range to a total of 42 colour options. Adding a softer yet contemporary edge to the range, the berbers further enhance the versatility of the York Wilton collection. Composed of 80% wool and 20% nylon, York Wilton is one of Ulster Carpets’ many ranges available in colour matching widths of 4m, 3m, 2m, 1m – with a 5m wide option available by spring 2009.

Another addition to Ulster Carpets’ collection includes the launch of the Elements Wilton range. A collection of 4 textured designs – Manhattan, Mirage, Cascade and Lagoon, Elements Wilton is a cut / loop woven wilton, composed of 100% wool. Available in 4 metre wide and in 4 natural colourations, the range is suitable for both residential and commercial applications. With a variety of textured designs to choose from, Elements Wilton is a contemporary alternative to plain carpet creating a highly sophisticated interior finish.
