Carpets have been a part of Shaw’s history since the company’s beginnings back in the late 40s. Focussing on ensuring the company was self-sufficient; they bought their own yawn plant in 1972, resulting in a yarn supply which would go on to create Shaw Home Foundation carpets for many years to come. With everything being produced and manufactured internally, quality would always be high, and that’s been the case since Shaw Home Foundations started manufacture.

More recently, Shaw have moved further into the flooring industry, expanding into producing rugs and hard flooring. Although both of these areas might be ‘new’ for Shaw, they actually have nearly twenty years of experience in both rugs and hard floors!
