Edel Telenzo has been selling carpets in the UK for over 30 years, building up a reputation for delivering stylish, well-priced tufted carpets for both domestic and contract markets.
Edel Telenzo unusually offers a wide range of wool, wool mix and synthetic carpets, thanks to combined expertise and experience of the two Dutch businesses which in 2004 became one. Edel’s background is in high quality synthetic carpets, largely for the contract market; Telenzo’s is in wool and wool tufting - it was one of the first companies to develop qualities with a multi-ply yarn system.

Edel Telenzo offers through Beautiful Flooring retailers a range of 35-40 qualities, focusing mainly on tufted 100% wool or high wool content qualities with the emphasis on textures and sophisticated natural shades.

Chelsea, a smart Brussels style low level loop design, using three ply yarn, is available in 4 and 5 metre widths. Scotchgarded for stain resistance, Chelsea is suitable for heavy domestic or general contract applications, and comes in eight great plain shades in contemporary earthy tones – sea salt, cream, ash, sand, driftwood, cork, mud and graphite.

Nature Wool Select, Edel Telenzo's best selling textured multiply range in 100% 1/4 gauge wool features a semi-worsted yarn for extra lustre and colour palette of nine muted shades veering towards grey, green and brown shades: Snow White, Birchwood, Maple, Cinnamon, Willow, Hay, Hazelnut, Coffee Bean, Oyster. Nature Wool is fully Scotchgard treated, and is available in 4 and 5 metre widths.

Piccadilly is a hard wearing, versatile multi-striped bouclé loop in 100% three ply 1/8 gauge wool. It comes in 1, 4 and 5 metre width options and it’s suitable for heavy domestic or heavy contract use, being anti-flam and anti-static, with the additional benefit of Scotchgarding, to ensure full versatility of application. Piccadilly coordinates with the fine loop pile Centrepoint (in seven colours); and with the dual stripe options, Mainline and Jubilee from the Tube Collection. Colour options include flashes of mulberry and plum as well as softer neutrals.

Sydney meets the market demand for a good value ribbed wool design. In 100%, 1/5 gauge, three ply wool, it is Scotchgarded, available in 4 and 5 metre width and comes in seven muted pastel shades: parchment, driftwood, oak, oatmeal, nutmeg, putty and walnut.

The latest addition to Edel Telenzo’s exciting wool carpet range is Barbican, an attractive two-tone high-low textured loop pile in 100%, 1/8 gauge, two ply wool in six subtle shades and one co-ordinating multi-stripe. Scotchgarded, available in 4 and 5 metre width options (4 metre only in the multi-stripe), it’s suitable for heavy domestic or general contract use. Colours are Parchment, Smoke, Wheat, Cappucino, Aspen and Ashes.

Since the 1970s, Edel Telenzo has been selling carpets within the UK. However the company's history dates back to sixty years previously in the 1910s, where Edel and Zoons collaborated to product flooring in Northern Holland.

Now part of an international Edel Telenzo Group, Telenzo Carpets continue to design and manufacture carpets of the highest quality. However now their carpets are available not only in the UK, and are now internationally known and available for purchase. Their fantastic history, experience and attention to detail is what makes Telenzo Carpets stand out from the crowd.

Manufacturing of their carpet takes place all in the same place as their synthetic fibres are produced. These fibres allow for easy dying, ensuring bright colours with long life are easily possible, allowing Telenzo's design and ideas to really take hold.
